Licensing Question

    Hello,
    I’m new to Zerto, and currently I’m trying to figure out how the Product Licensing works.
    I need to know if existing licenses can be used for new versions of Zerto products.
    For example, we are currently running Zerto Virtual Replication 5.5, and want to upgrade to 7.0
    Are the existing licenses accepted for the new version, or we need to buy new?

    Hello – the software is licensed per protected virtual machine.  If you have active maintenance and support contract then you are entitled for the software – I would recommend checking with your Zerto account team or reseller partner. There are different licensing levels for specific features as part of the Enterprise Cloud Edition license, but your sales reps will be able to cover this with you if needed.
