Version Mismatch ?

    Today I tried to upgrade our 2 ZVM’s from 6.0 to 7.0

    The upgrade to v6.5.u4 on both ZVM’s worked without a problem

    Upgrading to v7 however, is failing on one of the ZVM’s with the error that version 6.0.xxx is not a valid version for upgrade (although the system is running 6.5).

    Repair ZVM with 6.5u4 installer ==> not ok

    Reconfigure ZVM from Diagnostics ==> not ok

     

    I am thinking that the upgrade failed to remove a version ID in the DB or a regkey somewhere? Has anyone had this happen before ?

    Did you happen to have VRAs still from 6.0? Those may of needed to have been upgraded first.
