Connecting to new site and replicating data

We are going have a new data centre. We will have Zerto in the new site. We will pair to the new site. We have to replicate around 30TB of data. Can we backup data to disk and physically go to the new site and copy data? then do the sync. Is there a way to copy data? Or do we have to do the normal way : creating VPG and replicate data?
