Pre/Post Recovery Scripts in 7.5

    I am looking to grade my environment from Zerto 7.0 to 7.5. I saw something in the release notes about script hardening, changing to Powershell only scripts. I could not find anything about it in the upgrade, installation or administration guides so wanted to clarify. We currently use python for our Pre/Post Recovery Scripts and they work great. Will that no longer be available? Do I need to convert all of the python scripts to Powershell before running the upgrade to 7.5?

    Hello Eric,

    Mike from Zerto here. Unfortunately, you are correct. Non-PowerShell scripts are no longer supported in Zerto 7.5, and that would include Python scripts. If you would like support of Python scripts in Zerto 7.5, I would recommend navigating to the link below and opening a Feature Request:
