ZVM – Upgrade from 2008R2 to 2016

    My ZVM machines are currently running on Windows Server 2008R2. Sooner or later Zerto (and Microsoft) are going to deprecate support for 2008R2. I’d like to do an in place upgrade from 2008R2 to 2016. My question is, has anyone done this? Any gotchas? Specifically relating to Zerto, any issues with the ZVM software post upgrade? I believe an OS upgrade is the easiest path through, so that Zerto continues to function properly, but if you know of an alternate solution to this issue, I’d gladly hear it.

    I haven’t heard of any issues yet — I’ve asked around internally and  will keep you posted if I do.
