Replicating VM with more than 12 vdisks to AWS
Hello, We’re currently in a POC of the Zerto solution to build our DR environment in AWS. We’re facing a problem with VMs that have more than 12 vdisks attached, we cannot add them in a VPG. The documentation found for Zerto/AWS (ZVR-ETPA-4.5U2-01-30-05-16) is not clear about the limits in such VMs, in section “TEST1: […]

Setting up DR with Zerto 7.0 from Hyper-V to AWS, my customer wants an instance of c5.large and there are no c5.xxxxxx instances available, the closest being c4.large. This seems to be the same with m5.xxxxxx type instances as well where the closest is m4.xxxxxx.

Mapping vCPU/RAM sizing during failover ?
Hi, In case I have source VMs with sizes not matching the EC2 instance sizes. Can I map them to desired size in an automated fashion during failover or it is a manual process or scripts? Moreover for failback I would do a manual process to restore to original sizing ? Thanks

They also point to new API Methods, i.a. ImportSnapshot. From experience ImportSnapshot seems much faster than “legacy” ImportVolume . Has Zerto looked into that or […]
