    • Zerto to migrate VM's with RDM's

Is it possible to use zerto to migrate MS clusters in same vsphere? Have to move to new storage array, and if could use Zerto for migration that would work well. Haven’t deployed Zerto yet, but purchased licenses for 50 VM’s for DR.

    • Multiple destinations

Just a quick question concerning multiple destinations. I see that I can send from multiple sources to a consolidated recovery site. But is it possible to have a protected VM with copies being sent to two separate recovery sites?

    • Upgrade from 4.0

Hello! I have a customer that is still running version 4.0. According to the upgrade guide, I need to upgrade them to 4.5 then 5.0 then 5.5 then 6.0. I see 5.0 and later available as a download but don’t see downloads available for version 4.5 on the web site. Is there a download archive […]

    • Citrix Master Image replication

I’m looking for advice on how best to deal with powered off Citrix Master Image VMs.  My Citrix admin let me know it’s best practice to keep the master image VMs powered off. I wanted to vet with the gurus here to confirm that after an intial sync completes, and I get at least one […]

    • Archive Offsite Backup Files

I have a need to keep a series of backups for long term archive. These long term files will be stored at our DR site. Currently I have offsite Backup configured for the VPGs I need these long term archive files and that is stored at our DR site. Is there a way to take […]

    • New vCenters and uninstall question.

We are about to upgrade our VMware infrastructure, and have decided that we are not going to upgrade the vCenter appliances, but replace them with new ones.  From the documentation that I found this requires us to tear down our Zerto installation and then rebuild it after the new vCenters are up and everything has […]

    • Complete Uninstall inc all volumes cleanup

Hi Team, due to an issue with the current Zerto 3.5 we have decided to uninstall completely and re-install the latest version. As the sites are showing disconnected what is the best way to clean up the old replicated VMs and do a fresh start? I need to ensure there are no remnants taking up space / […]

    • local backup

Hello, I am fairly new to zerto, however we currently have our backups running to our secondary office location.   Is there away to have zerto do local backups to our main office as well, if so what would it take to get set up?   Thanks

    • Snapshot based backups

For people who use snapshot based backups, what is the behavior of Zerto at the time the backups are taking place? What is the expected behavior?  I’ve noticed Zerto very slow in replication during this time (if it even replicates at all).  Does anyone else experience this?

    • Rollback 1 minute

Hi. I am a new user and have a very simple question. How do you rollback your entire environment (or individual server) 1 minute? I know we a small RPO that is shown in the dashboard so the data is there. It’s just not obvious to me where to do that. We have three VPGs […]

    • Copying BIOS UUID

So I ran into the issue that when we replicate our main applications it breaks licensing for those applications when you perform a failover test and access the applications in the testing environment. When you boot the VM and start the application it checks for some piece of hardware ID that is assigned to the VM […]
