We are working a new install with a migration from a VMware 5.1 to a 6.5 Installation. The original setup uses 4 hosts for all guests, but the new setup has 8 hosts for protected operation guests (UCSDMZ) and 2 hosts for public access guests (PUBDMZ). When we set up VPG’s, we are only able […]

Shadow VRA during upgrade
What happens to the shadow VRA during an upgrade to a new version of Zerto? I’m assuming while the VRAs get upgraded, the shadow VRA doesn’t need to be, as it’s just a place to mount vmdks?

Lack of vSphere vApp support from ZVR 4.5 onwards
Hi, I’m running ZVR 4.0U6 in a VMware environment, performing vSphere to/from vCD and vCD to vCD replication. I am considering upgrading to ZVR5.0U1 but, when reading the release notes, I have seen that vSphere vApp support is discontinued since ZVR 4.5. Does anyone know what this lack of support means? In the vSphere replication site, will […]

Administrator Privilages Not Required
I’m a new Zerto user and when I’m told a product requires “Administrator” privileges to vCenter I have a problem with that. This is a big gaping security hole that needs to be plugged.
