My 8.0U1 Upgrade Experience
Not sure if anyone else has experienced this or not. I recently upgraded from 7.5U3 to 8.0U1. On my production side (5 hosts, esxi 6.7), I upgraded my ZVM with no issue at all. The auto-upgrade VRA’s kicked off and all were successful, except one which failed over and over. I contacted support and they […]

Latency between vCSA/ZVM and remote site VRA
Is there any latency concerns if you have a vCSA and the ZVM located in a data center, and have a remote site on the other side of the country running a single host controlled by the vCSA in the data center. Can you create a VRA on the remote host and have it perform […]

Zerto Orchestrator Setup help
I downloaded the Zerto Orchestrator (Jenkins) and have manage to get it setup to the point where it logs into both vCenter and ZVM successfully. However when I configure it to actually run a VPG failover test, it always fails. I can see in ZVM that it does kick off the failover test, but stops […]

Reoccuring Error since install
Every other day I get the error message, “The connection between site Zerto Colocation and the hypervisor manager Pending vCenter connection at x.x.x.x is down.” I swear something is wrong or misconfigured or maybe it’s a legit bug. Just reaching out to the community to see if anyone else is experiencing this, or if I am […]

Pre migration script fails to run
Hi all, hopefully this is the right forum. I’m migrating to VMWare and trying to execute a pre-migration script on the source zvm server. We are already successfully executing a post migration script on the DR ZVM server. I have confirmed execution policy is set correctly and running the script as the service account runs […]

Pause VPG?
I have a dedicated cluster as a Zerto target at our DR site. I need to shut down all of the Hosts at once, so that I can configure EVC mode. Can I simply “pause” the VPG’s for 10 minutes, or is there a better way of doing this?

Recovery SDRS
Hello Has anyone used “Allow SDRS for Recovery VRAs” on Zerto 7.5. Is there any extra steps we need to take before enabling this checkbox in the “Site Settings (Policies)” Thanks

Zerto and vCenter snapshots
Regarding VM snapshots, I read : …”Zerto does not take VM Snapshots into account (a VMware delta VMDK file is not replicated to the DR site!). Therefore, we can go back in time thanks to the Zerto Journal, but we cannot revert to a snapshot, which is older than the Zerto Journal.”… I’m not 100% […]

Recovery Volumes Used Storage
The Resource report shows me that the Recovery Volumes Used Storage (GB) is usually a little bit smaller in size than the Source Volumes Used Storage (GB). Does someone know why? Thanks!
