Checkpoints after 2 hours

Hi

I found that checkpoints are stored every 5-10 seconds within 2 hours

But after, checkpoints about 15-20 minutes are stored after 2 hours to the end of the journal (set 7 days for failover)

My question is which criteria is applied in Zerto?

And what if I change journal limit 7 days to 15 or 30 days?
