Couldn’t RDP server from jumpserver after failover

  • Hi Team,

After failover of a server from zerto, could not RDP it  from jump server and throwing error “An authentication error occured. The specified network password is not correct”

We have verified connections for jump server and looks good because we could RDP another servers from that jump server

Could you please suggest us how to proceed on this.?

    Thanks

    Hi Tejaswi,

This issue could be related to your kerberos security token settings. They control time drift tolerance regarding authentication with Active Directory.

    Please see: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/previous-versions/windows/it-pro/windows-server-2003/cc779260(v=ws.10)?redirectedfrom=MSDN

This is still applicable to more modern versions of Windows Server than the article references.

You might try enabling time sync on the hypervisor level to help correct any time drift after failover.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

    Thank you,
