Hyper-V VRA connectivity

    Hi,

    I’ve got a small demo environment running in Azure, where I have a Hyper-V host which has a couple of VMs, SCVMM. Zerto has set up fine and installed the VRA, but I can’t seem to connect to the VRA from the rest of the network. The host can ping it, but trying to ping the VRA from outside of the host gives network unreachable.

    The Hyper-V host can ping everything on the network including its’ VMs

    Steps so far:

    Created an external network on the Hyper-V host.

    Added a couple of small ubuntu VMs

    Installed the VRA from the ZVM

    Any advice appreciated! Also any further info willingly provided.

    Hi Chris,

    Is there anything else attached to the network the VRA is attached to, if so are they seeing the same issue?

    If not have you double checked the IP config you provided the VRA?

    I’ll be honest, I’ve blatted the test environment now 🙂 I may rebuild and see if I hit the same problems, although I’ve trialled a couple of smaller things and they’ve been fine.
