Local user(s) for ZVM

    I’m trying to figure out how ZVM web ui authentication works. As I understand it, it is integrated with the permissions/authentication for the vCenter the ZVM is attached to, but I figured there has to be a non-AD and/or non-vCenter login that can be used. I’m having some trouble finding what I’m looking for in the documentation. Anyone have any advice?

    Hi Matthew – You are correct in that on the vSphere platform, ZVM looks to VC for validating credentials. When Zerto installs, only the built in administrator group has access to Zerto. Users in this group can enable Zerto usage for other roles via vSphere on any other role at their discretion. — Justin
