New API Methods with next Zerto Release?

when using the “AWS Import” Method Zerto calls the ImportVolume Method. When using AWS command line tools it states that this Method is deprecated and might be removed in a future release. They also point to new API Methods, i.a. ImportSnapshot. From experience ImportSnapshot seems much faster than “legacy” ImportVolume .
Has Zerto looked into that or considers a change for a upcoming release?
Thanks, Stephan
the same seems true for “ImportInstance” which Zerto is using, AWS seems to recommend new “ImportImage”
Dear Stephan,
In version 5.5 we introduced a new import method that greatly improves recovery times into AWS (6x faster). For more details please take a look at our release notes: http://s3.amazonaws.com/zertodownload_docs/Latest/Zerto%20Virtual%20Replication%20Release%20Notes.pdf
Or watch the recording of our 5.5 launch webinar : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4LPo_L1jOcY
Hope this helps!
@Zerto:
Are there any plans to support the AWS EC2 ImportImage API?
Are you already in contact with the AWS EC2 team in regard to this? If not, please let me know and I’ll connect you with the right people at AWS.
Best,
Massud
