VRA hardware version

    VMware will block upgrades to 6.7 because the VRAs are running on a legacy hardware version. Can we update these?

    Contara from Zerto support.

    Can you please provide us more information on a “legacy hardware version”?  Before we can provide you the right information. I am not sure what is the “legacy hardware version” is.

    I believe what they were referencing was the VM Hardware version set on each VRA, VRAH and ZCC in VMware. In our current environment they are set to hardware version 7 (esxi 4.0) by default when deployed with Zerto. These need to be upgraded to at least hardware version 8 to perform the 6.7 upgrades. Is upgrading the VM hardware version on VRAs, VRAH, and ZCCs supported??
