Is there any recommendation from Zerto to upgrade ptotected site first and then upgrade the recovery site? We have a shared DR site running 6.0U4P1 which is paired to 3 other protected sites running 6.0U4P1 and 6.5U3P1, behind a ZCM. So, after upgrading ZCM to 6.5U4, can we upgrade the recovery site ZVM to 6.5U4?
It doesn’t matter whether you upgrade the protected site first or whether you upgrade the recovery site first as long as the versions are compatible.
After upgrading ZCM to 6.5U4, you can upgrade the recovery site ZVM to 6.5U4 with the 3 other protected sites running 6.0U4P1 and 6.5U3P1.
As long as you don’t have any protected sites running on 6.0 or earlier version, the versions are compatible between your sites after you upgrade the recovery site ZVM to 6.5 u4.
